Elantra HybridElantra Hybrid The 2026 Hyundai Elantra hasn't changed much in 2026, but this year the SEL Convenience trim is replaced by the SEL Sport Premium trim in the lineup.For 2026, the Hyundai Elantra offers a wide range of trims, including SE, SEL Sport, SEL Sport Premium, Limited, and N Line. Hybrid options include Blue HEV, SEL Sport HEV, and Limited HEV. The high-performance Elantra N returns this year with an exciting addition, the TCR Edition. The 2026 Elantra offers several powertrain choices. Standard models include a 2.0L gasoline engine producing 147 horsepower and a 1.6L turbocharged engine making 201 horsepower. Hybrid versions combine a 1.6-liter engine with an electric motor for a total output of 139 horsepower. At the top of the range, the Elantra N features a 2.0L turbocharged engine delivering 276 horsepower for maximum performance. Power is delivered to the front wheels through various transmissions: an Intelligent Variable CVT Transmission (IVT) on standard models, a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission on the N Line, and a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission on hybrid models. The Elantra N also offers a 6-speed manual and an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission. Interior technology has been refined for 2026 the interface has simpler operation, with all radio functions including SiriusXM accessible from a single screen. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity are standard. Standard features across the lineup include LED daytime running lights, 4 USB ports, Bluetooth connectivity, and a comprehensive suite of safety technologies. Higher trims add amenities such as heated seats, dual-zone climate control, premium audio systems, and enhanced driver assistance features. Safety features remain a focal point for the 2026 Elantra. Lane Keeping Assist is standard across the lineup and applies subtle steering corrections if it detects the vehicle wandering out of its lane at speeds above 40 mph. Kona ElectricKona Electric The Hyundai Kona electric was redesigned in 2024, it adds a new N Line trim for 2025 but otherwise carries over with minimal changes.Hyundai's designers managed the tough task of bringing the charm of the Kona's exterior design to the cabin while maintaining comfort and convenience. Quality materials, good ergonomics, and comfortable seats feel grown up and refined but not out of step with the Kona's funkadelic outward appearance. The Kona Electric is powered by a single electric motor that produces 201 horsepower and has the added benefit of producing zero tailpipe emissions. The electric motor smoothly delivers instant torque for quick acceleration. When plugged in to a regular home outlet the Kona Electric will charge to 100% capacity in 9.5 hours however at charging stations, DC fast chargers can power up to an estimated 80% in under an hour. The Kona Electric has a range of 200 to 261 miles per charge depending on the trim level. Santa Fe HybridSanta Fe Hybrid After a redesign in 2024 the Santa Fe and Santa Fe Hybrid carryover with minimal changes for 2025.The 2025 Santa Fe is powered by a 2.5L turbocharged 4-cylinder making 277 horsepower. With power equivalent to or better than many of the V6 engines in its class, the Santa Fe returns great fuel economy while also offering plenty of torque for highway onramps and passing. The Santa Fe HEV is powered by a 1.6L turbocharged four-cylinder engine mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. The electric motor increases the horsepower from 178HP to 231HP. The Santa Fe HEV is available in three trim levels, SEL, Limited and Calligraphy. All three trims come standard with heated front seats, cruise control with stop and go, climate controls, an HD radio with satellite, Bluetooth connectivity, a 12.3-inch touchscreen, wireless device charging and 4 USB ports.
